Fur Pets Sake has received an outpouring of support from volunteers and adopters since owner Lindsay Royce shared on Facebook that Councilwoman Cherie Butcher, whose husband owns a property next door, filed an animal annoyance complaint against her. But concern that Butcher received any special privileges because of her positionis unfounded, Mayor Leah Juarez told the Star-Tribune.
